As a work session this was not an official board meeting, so no official actions were taken. I attended the presentation and discussion by the current district engineer, Richardo Goncalves of rg consulting engineers, inc. The discussion was centered around his current priority list of actions that he felt should be done; the current state of the work given the delay in the contracted for deliverables; the loss of the two most active engineers from his company; and the furture actions needed on both sides. The meeting continued to additional topics for which I did not attend. Thanks to the board for making me feel invited and involved.

After a fairly long quiet period, I am once again attempting to attend the meetings and give a citizens approach to what went on. I am by nature a fairly uncontroversial person so I will not engage in what I consider biased or emotional rants. But I am also by nature a cynic, so my reports will be guided by a natural suspicion and doubg of any positive slant. We'll see how it goes. Feel free to make comments or send me emails David

No news of any major interest has happened in some time. I take this as good news that things are settling and things are just happening. See http://www.fvawd.com for recent announcements and meeting informations.
